Terms of use
These terms apply when you create an account or a website on SiteStand, a product of Zionstand Digital Technologies ("Zionstand", "we", "us").
Last updated 6 November 2026
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Before a website goes live we verify the owner's identity with a NIN or BVN check.
2. Your website and content
You own the content you put on your website, including text and images. You give us permission to host, display and back it up so we can run the service. You confirm you have the right to publish everything on your site, and that what it says about your business is true.
Text written by our AI is a draft for you to check. You are responsible for approving it before you publish.
3. Review and acceptable use
Every website is reviewed before it goes live and must follow our acceptable use policy. We may refuse to publish a site, or take one offline, if it breaks that policy, if we receive a credible report of fraud, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.
4. Plans, payment and renewal
Plans are paid yearly in advance in naira through Paystack. Prices include VAT and are shown before you pay. The price you pay is fixed for the year you paid for. Prices for new plans and renewals can change; we show the current price before you renew.
We email reminders before your plan ends. If you do not renew, your website stays online for 14 days and then goes offline. We keep your content so you can renew later.
5. Refunds
If we decline to publish your website in review, we refund the plan payment in full. Once a website has gone live and its domain is registered, plan payments are not refundable, except where Nigerian consumer protection law requires it. One-off "build it for me" fees are agreed before work starts.
6. Domains
Domains included in a plan are registered in your name, or your business name, through an accredited registrar, and renew with your plan. You can ask for the transfer code to move your domain elsewhere at any time while your account is in good standing.
7. Leaving
You can stop using SiteStand at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your website content. We remove your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep SiteStand and your website online, and we publish incidents on our status page. We cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, for example by our hosting or payment providers or by planned maintenance.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
